change phones name

I was on stock rom previously. Now I'm on cynagen mod 7.2 mokee os and its awesome. But the phones nAme is settings has changed to skate... can I change it to orange montecarlo?

You can change it by editing /system/build.prop

But the name doesn't have an impact on system operation . So I don't see a point in doing it.
