Yes it'll be in when the cm team merge it or I set up gcc 4.7 which is hopefully soon.

I heard somewhere that when CPU is computing all commands faster it needs smaller voltage and battery is draining slower or something like that :) . But im not pretty sure about that.

Linaro have basically optimised Linux system files, that have been made open source and free to use if I'm right?

Could be the case, if it's more efficient, then the same can be done at lower clock speeds, so you could underclock, save battery and not have a bad experience.

Is this going to be ported?

Lalit already integrated it but there was no substantial difference.
