Guest Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 I'm going to the US for 5- 6 months soon and I was thinking of taking my blade along and getting a T-mobile prepaid sim. My blade on its back has its 2G frequencies listed as 800/1800/1900. The T-mobile network operates exclusively on 1900. So this means the two should work together right? Can someone plese confirm that my logic regarding this is write and they should work together. Also, if someone has some hands-on experience with these two together, that'd be great. Thanks
Guest shmizan Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 yeah they should work together. you will not get full reception at all times but should be fine. your choices are: 1900 on 2G or 2100 on 3G
Guest redhawkuk Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 All tri-band / quad-band handsets will work in the US for voice calls what may not be possible is internet access at full speed with 3G. The last time I was in the US I was roaming on T-Mobile and AT&T networks so I see no reason why your SF with T-mobile SIM won't work. Richard S.
