after flash skate restarts when making call

i had a dead orange monte carlo flashed it skatie rom and everything was fine until i made a call then the phone shuts down and i have to pull the battery to get it to switch on. does anyone have any ideas?

Probably it doesn't shut down but simply screen stays off. Go to engineering menu by dialing *983*0#, go to sensors menu and calibrate proximity sensor by pressing" calib"
