Guest utternoob Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) Thanks to Plegdroid for sorting this, it looks great on our skates. Get the APK from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678929 Get the zip from here: http://db.tt/YxnJe621 Once again, thanks to Plegdroid for sorting this, I for one really like this We also now have Blue Infinitum: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mridaiunw2zkd4w/blue-inf-addon-skate-.zip Edited June 14, 2012 by utternoob
Guest utternoob Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Oh. Perhaps something else the dev needs to do then
Guest razzmataz1478 Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Try downloading again it could be a bad zip-possibly
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) you need the update binary for skate in the zip :) look in the zip file, go to meta/com/google/ android and replace the update binary with this one http://db.tt/rIeUnPLw should work :) Edited June 12, 2012 by plegdroid
Guest utternoob Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Thanks :) Tried again and got installation aborted. Is this good to show where the problem is? Edited June 12, 2012 by utternoob
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Thanks :) Tried again and got installation aborted. Is this good to show where the problem is? did it give another error code? :)
Guest utternoob Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 No. Even removed the .bin suffix and tried again. Just installation aborted
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 No. Even removed the .bin suffix and tried again. Just installation aborted could you please point me in the right direction to get the add on so I can have a look at what's inside the zip file, I've found the free app on market, but not the inverse zip, :)
Guest utternoob Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 This is it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678929 Could it be that because it is for One x it has compatibility issues?
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 This is it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678929 Could it be that because it is for One x it has compatibility issues? probably yes :) I'll make a nandroid, flash the theme, then try and fettle the add on, please don't treat this as a guarantee I can get it to work, but while the nightlys are quiet it gives me something to mess with :)
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 okidoki, try this one, I've taken out apps that may not be supported by the skate or don't come with gapps, I'll sort a separate update zip with the extras if you still want them, plus there was a boot animation I left out, as that could be manually pulled from the zip and placed in system media anyhoo if you wanted to try it, please let me know if it works on your phone or not? http://db.tt/YxnJe621 Pete :)
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Thanks!! :) no worrys, iam keeping it, so thanks for sharing :)
Guest utternoob Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Works fine. Like the little blue numbers on the keyboard. Nice touch
Guest plegdroid Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Works fine. Like the little blue numbers on the keyboard. Nice touch result :D
Guest utternoob Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Only problem is e-mail scrolling but I can live with that
Guest Redstarr1 Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 This looks great :-). Always wanted the gapps to be black instead of white. You might consider changing the thread name to THEME and sharing a link in the first post? :-)
Guest utternoob Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Could do, another problem is received messages are unclear in daylight. Perhaps if they were blue, it would work better ;)
Guest Josh92 Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Yeah looks nice but would be terrible in sunlight. It's terrible already mind you..
Guest utternoob Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 I like it, although sun light is an issue with received messages
