Bug: MSN Messenger closed but still appearing online

SYMPTOM:

According to the phone I am no longer connected to MSN Messenger, since I am presented with the sign in menu. However according to my MSN account on the PC, I am still online, and I can even send messages to the phone account even though they are never received!

I have only witnessed this when I have been disconnected, rather than performing a normal logout. Hence a log in - log out may fix it?

The fact messages can be sent, appear OK to the sender, but never be received is not good tho!
