Guest Lens_flare Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, I accidentally found that site: http://builder.clockworkmod.com/ Just specify all three fields and mark "touch recovery", then after compiler finish, you could download recovery.img and flash it via fastboot. Easy, right? What's more it works with my source I have placed here: https://github.com/N...endor_acer_paso So, what exactly you need: 1) recovery image - use cm9 or miui v4 boot.img, I couldn't guarantee it will work with something else 2) recovery.fstab from source I specified(one may also add ext4 support to it) 3) graphics.c, that could be also found on mine source at recovery folder I built recovery with this site for about a minute, and it works like a charm with all things functioning(even it have partitioning SD!). my screen: as you see it is the same CWM but fully touch-enabled. Navigation: use "back" key to back, and touch and scroll to all other things. Edited June 21, 2012 by Lens_flare
Guest Mtman1 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 :) are you going to upload a version for us? (just that quick test build) anyway, is it possible to brick your device doing this?
Guest Lens_flare Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 are you going to upload a version for us? not now. Cmon, it's not so hard :D is it possible to brick your device doing this? nop, if you have done something wrong, you could always flash another recovery via the same fastboot.
Guest Lens_flare Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 can it work with performance rom? Use only components I specified, and it will work on any 2.3 rom.
Guest Eduard1234 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) can you post the boot , because i don't have it, or you can post the recovery EDIT: i downloaded all rom to bring boot and so i did my recovery. if you want download it : http://www.mediafire.com/?irgh9wgi5173gh8 Edited June 21, 2012 by Eduard1234
Guest Mtman1 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Might give it a shot later. Hope it works, as I think a touch recovery might be nice.
Guest Mtman1 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 When it says : Touch Recovery will only work on ICS and later kernels. Does that mean I have to use ics to get the touch recovery, or can I use gb

Guest Mtman1 Posted June 22, 2012 Report Posted June 22, 2012 Hi lens, This is amazing. Looks soo nice and backup and restore is soooo quick. I've just tried a new rom and back again in under 10 mins. Thanks
Guest vamper89 Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Recovery is very good but i try to do nandroid backup and it say: no sd-ext found. Skipping backup of sd-ext
Guest Mtman1 Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 That happens unless you have ext4 as your second partition. This happens with every recovery apart from amonra
Guest vamper89 Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 how do I change the partition in this recovery without losing data
Guest Lens_flare Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 how do I change the partition in this recovery without losing data no way..
Guest liquid metal newbie Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 can i change the colors and the graphics of the recovery???
Guest Lens_flare Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 Don't know about colors, but graphics could be changed by disassembling img(use perl script for boot.img for disassembling and mkbootimg for assembling).
