Hi guys

This is a port of lalit's AOSPFX for Blade. Because of this, it can be pulled at anytme with request from him

I present AOSkateP for your enjoyment:

http://db.tt/45g7ZGnx

Gapps: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip

Known issues:

Some graphical glitches on pop-up windows

No Camera, FM Radio, Flash, YouTube HQ is laggy

CM9 dependancy. Flash it first. I used C3CO build:

http://goo.im/devs/C3C0/CM9/cm-9-20120610-C3C0-skate.zip

Otherwise all is fine

Method:

If currently running CFX, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Install rom, gapps and both superuser zips. Reboot

If not, backup current rom, wipe data, cache and dalvik. Format system, install CFX and then same as above

Enjoy

Why don't you just put the su binary in system/xbin and the superuser.apk in system/app and then people won't need to flash it.

Why don't you compile it yourself? AOSPFX is open source, you can easily repo sync our repositories and compile for Skate directly afterwards..

I could do but IF don't have readily availible access to a linux PC as I don't own one. I will do that once I have one but this is just a stop gap.

Sasans, did you flash CM9 first?

Just like razzamtaz1478's comment said you really don't need to port this rom as tilal has done a pretty good job already. May be you should wait for a Linux computer to work on your own unless you want to show us what you could do. BTW this is just my personal opinion.

You don't really need a separate computer to have Linux, you can install Ubuntu like a program on Windows (Wubi). Or you can run a virtual machine but I think compiling would take ages like that :-).

It does. I am typing from it right now. What did you do to install?

Where can I find the Superuser zip? And what advantages does this have over CFX?

Search superuser zip android on Google and click on the superuser webpage. This rom is based on purely aosp so is 'googlified', where.as cfx is based cm9. This rom is smaller in package size as well.

EDIT: superuser zip can.be found.in this page: http://androidsu.com/superuser/

I'm not getting what the difference is between this and CFX?... Correct me if I'm wrong (which I most likely am...) isn't this just a cm9 port of a port? With fewer problems fixed?.. Or is it something completely different?.. If so, what are these differences?..

Er, not sure, but it seems that way. I ported it because I needed to fill an AOSP shaped hole, and it did but I can't compile because I don't have a PC
