Guest PeaceMaker_H Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 Has anyone upgraded to ics from b894? I saw on other post that this version is not upgradable. At least for me it isn´t working... Try it.. even if it fails, it will not damage your current rom.

Guest Hpez Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) So this is custom rom?, because the official one don't have hebrew(עברית) The ROM shown is the new ICS released by Huawei - I just double checked and hebrew(עברית) is definitely on the language list. Edited July 4, 2012 by Hpez
Guest rsrocha Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 Just a radical idea i had moments ago... is anyone brave enough to flash the b926 rom with the vendor file from b894 to see the result?
Guest Dazzozo Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 Just a radical idea i had moments ago... is anyone brave enough to flash the b926 rom with the vendor file from b894 to see the result? What would this (try) to achieve?
Guest Dazzozo Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) You mean ADB drivers? I don't think so. Edited July 4, 2012 by Dazzozo
Guest FrankieADZ Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 You mean ADB drivers? I don't think so. Yeah. the ones to do ABD for clockwork and all that stuff

Guest runlevel5 Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 hi flashed this today coming from b888 rom in my status bar my battery bar is blue but the wifi and network and 3g signals are grey? my wifi and 3g are working fine any ideas? Mine were also grey when I first flashed, but worked fine also. They do turn blue eventually, I did a few reboots and made a backup, dunno if that helped.
Guest bumps Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) blue means you are connected to google services its the same in gingerbread just instead of blue it's green Edited July 4, 2012 by bumps

Guest pumemule Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 (edited) The ROM shown is the new ICS released by Huawei - I just double checked and hebrew(עברית) is definitely on the language list. it's strange, i install the B926 and no hebrew, only china and english. from about phone: Model number: HUAWEI U8818 Android version 4.0.3 Baseband version 2030 Kernel version: 3.0.8-perf-00158-g222d0d1 android@localhost #1 Build number U8818V100R001C17B926 Edited July 5, 2012 by pumemule
Guest Hpez Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Did you download the official ROM from the 'How to install' thread? That is the ROM I installed and as the screenshot above shows the language is there.
Guest Hans Gruber Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Mine seems to have every language under the sun listed, including hebrew and about 100 variations of english
Guest pumemule Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 I download the rom from huawei site. But i fix it using MORELOCAL2 and set it on hebrew. Thanks.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Anyone notice the usb icons on pull down menu when charging normally? They stay there until reboot. Also is there any way to set predictive text as I have to type out every single word and one letter out and you have to delete and correct it manually.
Guest rsrocha Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Did you install the vendor update? From previous versions if you install the vendor update you will have the phone branded and with only a set of languages.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 I. never flash the vendor component. Could be. due. to. meant for chinese market
Guest Pondlife Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 From what I could see the vendor part was tiny anyway can't imagine it does much
