Retrieve texts when screen doesn't work?

Hi my digitiser is broken so i can't press anything. Phone is saying i've got 8 texts, is there any way to retrieve them?

maybe, if you had PDANET on your PC and device.Try going to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pn.helper&hl=en on your PC(play store link of PDAnET)

click on install...

It will autostart downloading PDANET on your device

and it will autoinstall it.

Also install pdanet on your pc from here : http://junefabrics.com/desktop/

When done installing on both PC and phone, connect your phone to PC with uSB

and then right clik on pdanet tray icon,it might have option saying "Dekstop message centre" or something like that.

Try it,since i dont see any other possiblities

What version of android is installed? Is it rooted?

What I'm thinking of is adb. With the use of it you could grab the needed sqlite db file without the need of any 3rd party software, and read it with any sqlite editor. This needs USB debug to be enabled in development options on the phone side though.
