Very poor reception - is my blade dying?

This has been a problem for the last few weeks and I've tried searching the forums for relevant threads.

We have two Blades. Side by side one of them has barely any signal and will show typically one or two networks in the list in settings/available networks - the other will have many. Both running the same rom (or at least were when the problem started - I've since reverted the problem phone to stock to no avail).

Good phone has -91dBm 11asu (Network T-Mobile)

Bad phone has -113 dBm 0asu (Network Orange)

Both have the same APN information.

Both are fine on Wifi.

The phone is 3 weeks out of warranty (so Orange say).

Is that it? Can anything be done in software/hardware to fix this?
