Guest bugbyte Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Hi, new here - I was wondering if anyone had the same issue and hopefully a solution! I am running a rooted Monte Carlo with Clockwork mod on it plus a ROM with the zip name AtOMICMod. All worked well until I was using the music player and pressed the stop button on the headphones. A second tune started to play - it was if the button addressed the stock music player. This however isn't the issue. since then, the screen resolution has changed - it looks pixalated and lines appear at the sides with occasional stripes down the middle. I have tried an app to change the no of pixels - didn't work - and I have tried different roms inc. Cyan. 9. Does anyone have any ideas before I bin it? Thanks in advance!
Guest iReece Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 A few tips. 1) clear your cache via CWM 2) Repeat the steps you did again, try to repeat everything. 3) if that doesn't work, reflash the rom. (factory restore via CWM, then reflash the rom) If THAT fails, I'm not all too sure... You'll need a more experienced person to help you with it.
Guest C3C0 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 @bugbyte If you experience this in all different roms you tried then it's more likely to be a hardware problem...
Guest bugbyte Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 looking increasingly like hardware failure. Oh well. Thanks for the advice.
