For example, if you plug your USB cable into a computer,even with a security code, the 'USB CONNECTED' pop up still appears. This means if you ever lost your phone, people could look at your files without knowing the passcode. :( Edited July 8, 2012 by kyan31

This means if you ever lost your phone, people could look at your files without knowing the passcode. that's a symptom of being rooted, you can do that on any rooted android device. you can disable usb debugging, but if you root, you're inherently insecure. if you mean that the mass storage device is mounted automatically, then that's probably something stupid they've done in the stock rom, such as enabling autorun.
