Guest 1ntense Posted July 13, 2012 Report Posted July 13, 2012 Typing is now very laggy on my ZTE Blade, when I download new apps, Im constantly getting an 'internal storage nearly full' type of message. I seem to have nearly 1.5GB on my SD card but not sure if I can transfer anything to it and if that will speed things up any?
Guest ro63rto Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Make sure you empty the cache of high use apps like YouTube.
Guest 1ntense Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Ive heard its a good idea to do that, not sure how though? Starting to consider this flashing ROM business, Im still running everything stock. Will be getting a new phone soonish though and scared of bricking my phone lol
Guest hydo1 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Bricking blades is very hard to do so I wouldn't worry about that. Do you have the San Francisco variant? If you do the stock rom is terrible and laggy so I would advise that you upgraded to CM7 or Cold Fusion X.
Guest 1ntense Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Its an OSF yeah. Thanks, will look into that, would I lose all my apps, sms convos etc if I flashed a new ROM on though?

Yes you would. To back up the apps, and I would use titanium backup. To back up the sms I would use a sms backing up app from Google play (just search sms backup) then restore Edited July 14, 2012 by Mtman1

Not sure about apps, but you can use MyPhoneExplorer to backup your contacts, sms, etc. and revert them back once you've upgraded :)
