Guest devee Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Does anyone know how I can improve the accuracy of the GPS?
Guest oldfella Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 its OK for me, how far out are you. There is a built-in inaccuracy in the signal of around 30ft
Guest runlevel5 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 GPS accuracy is fine here, even when stowed away in a pack and riding through woodland etc. If you have a data bundle you can tick a-gps to help location.
Guest Maximus9 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 There is no A-gps to tick actuall, think you mean "Use Quick GPS".

Guest devee Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Its out by 35m.....and is two streets if my home location.
Guest Sonny Atwal Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) the GPS on this is very accurate and fast, I am using Quick GPS and Chinese ICS, so that probably is helping a lot combined with google navigation. as far as i am concerned the GPS is 10/10 Edited July 15, 2012 by Sonny Atwal
Guest Hogweed Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Sounds like it hasn't got a proper lock. You could try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chartcross.gpstest&hl=en (GPS Test app) to see what's going on and what accuracy is actually being achieved.
Guest oldfella Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 mine is spot on too, I can have an OS map on the screen and it will position me exactly on the junction of 2 paths
Guest devee Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Well mine used to be as accurate. ..but not anymore
