i would upload my repack of B927 (flashable .zip) but is 254mb and my upload speeds are really crappy :(

Would that allow an update from CWM?

I'm updating from 926 and my pink bar seems to have stalled at 9mm (yes I have a ruler out! :P ). Is pulling the battery going to brick it?

No the phone just reboots, I had the same problem, you need to do the downgrade process http://www.modaco.com/topic/355556-guide-change-to-any-g300u8815u8818-rom-via-boot-loader-version-bypass-hack/ then run the update.app when you have done this, I am now on B927 thanks to all the helpers on here.

I've just tried downgrading to B885 first and it's still not working

edit: I'm getting same error as everyone else

I managed to download that zip file attached to the post. It says that you need to apply it if the update fails. I have applied it without any visible changes. Now updating with the b927 file.

YES! After applying that attached file it is installing!

I have attached the file you need to apply if the update fails.U8815 middle package.zip

This won't download for me, freezes on a "loading" screen in Mediafire, doesn't even show me the file.

Anyone else experiencing this?

My Firefox did that as well, but I just let it hang for like 5mins then the download eventually popped up as finished.

1) Download both files (Part 1 and Part 2).

2) Use WinRAR (free tool) to extract Part 1 and it will join Part 1 and Part 2 into two folders (dload and vendor). The finished folder should be approx 608MB in size.

I had to follow the method to wipe the imei, run the update.app for B927 root it, unlock the bootloader, restore the imei and it worked, caused me a few more grey hairs doing it though, If it helps I did not install any ROM, I just wiped the imei then flashed the B927 update.app

Ok, im on B927 now. Simply amazing!

It is a full stock huawei rom even if you apply the vendor update (which in my opinion it is advisable) it has no crapware whatsoever.

We need to write a tutorial because if the update fails at first try we need to apply that file i posted back.

Ah yes tutorial :) .

I can't download the file but would like to know how to install the update app just in case it fails. I have read the translated text but I'm still a little unsure.

Thanks for all the info and to all the brave ones that jumped right in.. :D

Any mirrors for this as the download just isn't working.
