Guest matrakio Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Can anyone point out a list of apps, that are safe to remove from /system/apps ? Even better was making a modified cust.img with all the Chinese apps out. What a big mistake to install the vendor update on the 926, now I can't restore my previous nandroid backups(without the vendor update). Even tried to format cust.img, installing again the 926 update, and when installing again the 926, Chinese apps appear again... nothing works. Plus I can't Downgrade to gingerbread.
Guest matrakio Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 I can't even with the middle update file, it gets stuck.
Guest Mario_Cardoso Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Make sure you have root and bootloader unlocked.
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 To flash B927 try this it works :D http://www.modaco.com/topic/355877-guide-upgrade-from-b926-to-b927-via-fastboot/
Guest matrakio Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 To flash B927 try this it works :D http://www.modaco.co...7-via-fastboot/ it works but again even with that method I still have a lot of Chinese software. It seems whatever I do that Chinese crap follows me.
Guest Hpez Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 There are no chinese apps in that fastboot install so they must be being picked up from another partition. Try booting in to CWM and formatting the /cust partition.
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 After installing b927 through fast boot you must wipe everything. There is also a flashable zip you can use to install b927. This should get rid of everything shouldn't it.
Guest matrakio Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 I just remove manually every Chinese app, and sticked to the 926. On the 927 I was getting problems with the apn configurations. Now everything is fine, except for the sms app, that doesn't recognize, as the same contact, a contact with local area code, and the same contact number without the local area code. this is a bit annoying, anyway for fixing it?
