Guest razzmataz1478 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Will Koush actually release his sources then?
Guest SingleWolf Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 v4 backups are not compatible with this version of CWM. How about 5.5 backups, they're compatible or not?
Guest SingleWolf Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) Got a problem (non-touch version): phone shuts down (power off, not reboot) after "Freeing space.." when making backup. Edited July 20, 2012 by SingleWolf
Guest utternoob Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Works for me. Non touch cwm 6.0.0.6 now works
Guest timoti111 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 THX for this recovery it is much more faster than v5 :)
Guest unomesmo Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Got a problem (non-touch version): phone shuts down (power off, not reboot) after "Freeing space.." when making backup. Same here. Touch version. Now go to test no touch.
Guest SingleWolf Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) Same here. Touch version. Now go to test no touch. Seems strange - just finished OK with touch version. But not sure that's properly made: it has a strange small files ".android_secure.vfat.dup" and "sd-ext.ext4.dup" instead of normal co-named tarballs and a "blob" folder with a lot of files into root "clockworkmod" folder. Tilal, is it normal or something going wrong? Edited July 20, 2012 by SingleWolf
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I think that's meant to happen, looking at the code. Happens to me as well.
Guest unomesmo Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 With NO-Touch same but when finishing back-up. Freeing space and turned off itself. Flashing TWRP again... thanks anyway
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 New versions of touch and non touch up.

Guest SingleWolf Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Just tried both - it worked. OK, will retry after partition recovery completed.
Guest dejanmil Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Workes quite nice, after second try. Tnx for contributing Lalit!
Guest SingleWolf Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Found reason of problems in my case: sd-ext partition. After trying touch version I lose data on it so decide format SD completely. After doing that backup works fine, but if I create sd-ext partition problem returns back.
Guest mhstrijbos Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Worked like a charm! But what are the benefits over the previous versions....
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Faster backups, better looking, delete backups, better performance, touch navigation (if you choose)
Guest razzmataz1478 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I've flashed touch version, reboot into recovery, it appears and then after 5 seconds I get a blank screen and nothing happens.
