[Q] Nandroid backups not working

Yesterday I wanted to try C3C0's S3 kernel on CFX so I, for the first time ever, did a Nandroid Backup in Recovery and flashed the kernel, but I got bootloop so I wanted to restore my backup but when I tried to restore it, the phone only rebooted into recovery again so I clean installed the kernel, ROM and Gapps but I flashed the Kernel first so it wasn't installed.

Now today I did the same thing but it wouldn't work so I clean installed and this time I correctly flashed the kernel.

Now I want to try Paranoid Android ROM but first I want to make a working Nandroid Backup, and Titanium and GO backup.

Am I doing it wrong, should I flash the ROM before I restore my backup?

And how do I backup everything with Titanium Backup?

I love this forum because people always answer questions and talk to each other and you recognize most people.

XDA is like those big cities, stressy and creepy.

They yell if you post "thanks" and never answer your questions.
