Enabling Ad-Hoc?

I did a search but have found very little with regards to enabling ad-hoc.

Anyone here have any methods which have worked for them for the G300?

have a look on xda. there is a tool to install adhoc on tablets. And it works on a lot of phones to. It's a simple file swap and reboot. (wpa.supplicant i think). Grab it and replace the existing one with a root explorer.
