Guest whashnez Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 OK now GPS isn't working at all. I installed Skatie with its TPT which has large internal memory. Maybe this is what causing the problem? Maybe it needs more cache?
Guest C3C0 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Certainly no. I never had a problem with GPS on skatie. Must be temporary (weather? Location? Sun storm? :) ) or hardware issue. Edited July 31, 2012 by C3C0
Guest whashnez Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 After Skatie I flashed H3 Blues. MAybe H3 Blues has the problem?
Guest Gagas1 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 I use H3 Blues and eyrything is fine. IGO works fluent.
Guest whashnez Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah maybe the problem is with the "267 MB Internal Data, 157 MB System and only rest cache" TPT?
Guest whashnez Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 If GPS sensor failed what are my options?
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Re-tpt back to stock and then flash your stock ROM, call your operator and try to get it repaired if within warranty, if not, it may be cheaper to buy a new skate because ZTE are supposed to be quite expensive to get things repaired from. Or, if you feel brave, fix it yourself. Possibly WAWA72 could help if he has the part you need
Guest whashnez Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Where can I find the Greek TPT and the stock ROM from Wind? How can I contact WAWA72? Thanks in advance!
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Should find your stock ROM in stock ROM thread, stock tpt may be there as well. WAWA72 maybe reading this, if not search and message him describing problems you have in detail
Guest whashnez Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Another quick question: If I opened my Skate for example for cleaning under the screen, they can find out? Have I lost the warranty?
Guest utternoob Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Er, possibly but then again possibly not. I don't know. I never took mine apart
Guest omegavesko Posted August 21, 2012 Report Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) There's a white sticker on the top right corner screw. If that's still there, your warranty should still be valid. If it isn't, they'll know you've opened it. Edited August 21, 2012 by omegavesko
Guest whashnez Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 I did not remove the white sticker but I pulled it a bit to see what's beneath.............Now?
Guest omegavesko Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 Hm. Depends if they notice then, I guess.
Guest whashnez Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 OK explain me this: I revert the phone to FULL stock greek ROM from Wind, including stock TPT, system, splash, boot and recovery. The GPS starts working again......Why?
Guest whashnez Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 GPS may have something to do with what's going on in phone's NAND memory?
Guest omegavesko Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Hm. So it happens on both Skatie and H3 Blues, but not on your carrier's stock ROM? That really shouldn't happen, especially since Skatie is essentially a stock ROM with the bloat stripped down.
Guest edsousa Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 just use markt app gps aids and look for the bests ntp server for your location and change it and it will work 5 stars
