Guest rsrocha Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 As the title says, post you uptime. How far can you go? This info is inside settings, phone status. You can always post a screenshot... Dont forget to mention what rom you are running.
Guest rsrocha Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 My contribution, i have 63 hours uptime. B927 and nothing to report.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 The widget in the botton line,2nd frin the left. Says 4 days 4 hrs. Thats using B927 :)
Guest Colossae3.23 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I'm regularly getting just at 3 days out of mine. Still on AtomicMod (B888) and using antutu's battery saver app (in airplane mode, over night) *but this is when charged over USB from a computer, charging off mains power is quicker, but doesn't last near as long Usage: light telephone use; checking email, updating apps, and some web browsing, every evening all on wifi
Guest Hpez Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I'm currently on 112:10:45 with AtomicMod.
Guest Hans Gruber Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 162 hours on mine right now on B927
Guest Umrtvovacz Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Charging by plugging into plug charges the phone faster, indeed. Does it really makes the phone last shorter then when charged by USB?
Guest chico2069 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 im doing 2 to 3 days average with also average use :) But my best is 4 days and 3 hours :)
Guest Colossae3.23 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Charging by plugging into plug charges the phone faster, indeed. Does it really makes the phone last shorter then when charged by USB? I think it does make a difference, but I don't know why. It was the same when I was on the blade too. Try it out, as it might just be me. Also, I have a vague memory of a discussion on this forum regarding this, but it was months ago and it's probably buried. Try searching: fast charge, or quick charge. That might bring it up.
Guest FrownBreaker Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 The current supplied by the mains charger is higher than the current supplied on the average PC USB bus. This article has details.. http://www.extremetech.com/computing/115251-how-usb-charging-works-or-how-to-avoid-blowing-up-your-smartphone
Guest belmet Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 123 hours up so far. rooted and de-crapified stock B892. Still very fast and stable but will reboot in a day or two anyway.
Guest Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 168 hours on Infusion. No problems whatsoever.
Guest JRow Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 214:33 b926 must be happy with it, as i haven't had the battery out gor a while......
Guest Maximus9 Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 The title asks just for uptime, not for the problems encountered or not. I think we would also specify number of apps, rooted or not rooted and so on to compare battery life, problems etc. My phone reboots itself sometimes, once in a blue moon, on B888, one of the cleanest ROMs. But I do use it extensively, every day, to call, texts, office, internet, maps, tethering, mobile banking and so on. No games. Rooted. Why does it reboots? No idea... guess I just expect too much from it. It was fast at the beginning, after just installing the ROM, but now, after 1 month of daily use, it is slower and slower. Battery life is very short, but can't mesure it really as I use tethering all the time, which kills battery in just a few hours (3 to 4 usually).
Guest rsrocha Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 I think the most clean gb rom is b894. Well im with 169 hours and counting. Today was a busy day, plenty of phone calls and emails, used navigation to find a client, check some pdfs and accessing the corporate intranet. Battery was charged all night and now i still have about 25% With this uptime i consider the os pretty stable.
Guest ScutulatusCrotalus Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 PS C:\Users\user1> adb shell $ uptime uptime up time: 6 days, 20:51:11, idle time: 1 days, 19:18:55, sleep time: 4 days, 12:41:53
