Guest bollix Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Is there any way how to port ICS from Acer Glow to our Liquid MT?
Guest soundemonchan Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Yes, but it would be better to build from AOSP or CM sources. However, if some of the hardware is the same, it may help fix our mobile data and camera issues.
Guest Lens_flare Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Damn Liquid GLOW IS NOT THE SAME as Liquid MT, they even from different classes! One more time: Liquid MT: MSM7230 GLOW: MSM7227 MUCH different.

Guest bollix Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 but if you compare specifications of chipsets: Liquid MT: Embedded DSP (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS/WCDMA, HSDPA 14.4Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps baseband), Embedded gpsOne GPS module, gpsOneXTRA Assistance, Dedicated audio subsystem supporting 5.1 surround, 12-megapixel camera support, Adreno 205, OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 1.1, OpenVG 1.1, EGL 1.3, Direct3D Mobile, SVGT 1.2, Direct Draw, GDI Glow: Embedded DSP (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS/WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, MBMS baseband), dual-channel 333MHz LPDDR2 memory interface, Embedded Seventh-generation gpsOne GPS module, gpsOneXTRA Assistance, Adreno 205 GPU, OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 1.1, OpenVG 1.1, EGL 1.3, Direct3D Mobile, SVGT 1.2, Direct Draw, GDI
Guest franzo87 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Liquid MT: MSM7230 is a Snapdragon S2 cpu 800 MHz Scorpion GLOW: MSM7227 is a Snapdragon S1 cpu 0.8-1.0 GHz ARMCortex-A5 aren't just a number, aren't similar this two chip are from two different generation... the MSM8655 probably is more similar to our MSM7230 than the MSM7227 and if lens who worked on it for a lot of time said it isn't possible maybe he has right....
