Guest maninhas Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 When I enter an application and them press home to go to home the launcher always restarts and keeps loading and eventually appears again I've used several but always the same happens I'm on b927 someone??
Guest dt_matthews Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 I have experienced this quite a bit with various launchers. While it doesnt tackle the cause, you could get a launcher [e.g. Hulu] that has the option in its settings to keep loaded in memory (worked for me) or use a third party memory app which allows you to specify apps which shoult be resident and not terminated / closed for ram?
Guest Davidoff59 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 some launchers have a lock home in memory option which is what you need.
Guest luvvt Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 When you open the launcher it should give you a check box to set a default. Either open the launcher to bring this up or uninstall unused launchers
Guest Mtman1 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 some launchers have a lock home in memory option which is what you need. I can't remember when or where, but tillaz posted something that you change in a file (build.prop I think) and it locks the home in memory

Guest kyan31 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Apex launcher has keep in memory feature: Apex settings\Advanced settings\Keep in memory
Guest Mtman1 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1 should do the trick. yeah, that! I cant remember things like that....
Guest maninhas Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Im using nemus!!! But i dont know how to edit that
Guest droiddruid Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Add it to your /system/build.prop file. You will need root to do so.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 just use apex launcher, and set it in launcher settings.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 nemus doesn't have the option I don't think
