Hi,

I've had my ZTE blade for a while now and it's been fine. But something has happened to it and I don't know what's wrong.

Basically it's not recognising the battery, but even so, if I remove the battery and just plug the phone into the mains, the phone turns on automatically, starts loading the rom and the second the phone has booted, it restarts.

I thought this would be a power problem, but I can boot into the clockwork recovery mod and install new roms, and I can mount the phone onto my pc.

When I am within clockwork recovery, it never restarts.

I have tried a number of different roms, and it's the same case with all of them.

The phone starts, you see the green android, the roms loads, and when you see the menu, it restarts.

I think it just broken, but does anyone have any suggestions?

And I'm sure I haven't given you ever detail, so please let me know if I need to be more specific.

Any help is appreciated.

Many Thanks

As a first idea, I would do a TPT install of something, rather than flashing a ROM. Also, in CWM, have you gone into advanced, and formatted everything, not just a factory wipe?

I have also seen this happen with a corrupted Dalvik cache, so try wiping that, factory reset doesn't get it.

Hi,

Thank you for you're reply.

I have gone into the advanced menu and wiped everything including the Davlik cache etc.

I have not tried a TPT install and I'm not too sure what a TPT install is?

Could you give me a little guidance?

My ZTE blade was purchased as an 'Orange San Francisco' from the UK. And I upgraded it from GEN1 to GEN2 after I purchased it.

Many Thanks

Just search the forum for TPT. There's plenty of ROMs out there that use this install method.

If you have upgraded to gen2 you have already done a tpt.
