hi can anyone help.upgraded to ics and when i phone someone the screen goes black and cant do anything

What ics build is it? B926, B927 or infusion.

Whatever it is, I recommend wiping the phone in CWM and re installing the rom.

still no joy,went to infusion and still the same any ideas is it a bug
