Guest lordofazeroth Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I currently have Swedish Snow. Is there a way to show the Status bar when in Portrait Mode but automatically hide it, when in Landscape Mode? Automatically - without pressing a button? Thanks in Advance :)
Guest bladebuddy Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I don't think you can hide the status bar but you can make it close automatically after selecting options in it. Just go into rom settings/ notification power widget settings then tick Hide on change. Hope this helps.
Guest lordofazeroth Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 sorry. I did not mean that one. I mean the bar, which is always visible, where the clock, battery, connectivity, WLAN, etc. symbols are.
Guest bladebuddy Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 No you can't hide that but as it takes up very little space on your phone, why would you need to !
Guest lordofazeroth Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 I set the keyboard height to maximum in Landscape so I can type better. Therefore I wanted to deactivate that bar to have even more space. And that makes a difference, since the keyboard is so large
Guest emotty Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 in cm7 you can set shortcuts for hiding both bars .. i swipe up to hide the status bar and swipe down to hide the launcher .. has a tiny niggle with built in soft keys though (the little hide bar icon shows all the time and sometimes the sofkeys and launcher icons kinda combine sometimes, easy to put right again though ;) ) easy to live with for great functionality ... you could rotate then slide your finger to hide ... not what you asked and means a change of rom (maybe ?) but i`ll throw it in there ...
