Skype help pls :)

Hello I'm t-mobile pulse user U8220 with English 2.1 official rooted with z4 root and cpu maxed with No-frills CPU control and i want to know is it possible to get skype working smoothly.. i get litlle lags in sound and here on this forum i read that for skype is needed 528 Mhz clock and i do it with no frills, nothing better than earlier, so if someone get it work pls help becouse maybe i use wrong apps.
