First Post (Need Help G300 U8818)

Hello all, this is my first post so be nice ;) I recently purchased a Huawei Ascend G300 (Chinese/Asian U8818 model) It works just fine here in UK, its unlocked to any carrier & is running Gingerbread 2.3.6.

My question is how can i replace the current chinese apps with western U8815 firmware? I want google play market & other things rather than an unknown chinese market :)

Hopefully you Android Specialists here at MoDaCo can post me a guide that i can follow. Thanks in advance!

Check the sticky's as everything you need to no should be there and the guides are well written and easy to follow . You might need someone else to verify whether this applies to your model of phone.

All known 8815 and 8818 ROMs appear to be interchangeable. So yes you should be able to install anything in the forum.
