I believe that the gingerbread ROM from which I backed up my IEME was B892 (Vodafone).

I am running ICS 4.0.3 again for now only I hope.

It is not rooted anymore as SU is not there in the app screen anymore.

I want to be able to downgrade to B982 so that I can move across to a stripped down gingerbread rom for which I found the link here on MoDaCo: http://blog.podtwo.com/android/rom/de-branded%20ROM%20for%20Huawei%20U8815%20%5Bgingerbread%5D.html

So, my query is, if I downgrade to B892, what's the best way firstly to do that in layman's terms & then how can I further move down to the stripped down rom referred to; I do not have the IEMI backed up for vB882 stock, so cannot see how I could use the stripped down version either.

Trust Huawei to make things complicated.
