Question to all drivers

Few days ago I drove 250km+ and needed to use iGO (by the way, it worked like charm), but it drained battery from 100% to 15% in just 2 hours of ride. But wait...I used car usb charger all the way and it still drained battery. It shows me that it's charging and it really is, but very, very slow. Why is that? Shouldn't it maintain battery or at least discharge more slowly? It's like I haven't charged it at all? Is that because of my charger or is it because of car?

Is there any way of faster charging? What should I do? Any advice? Basicly I don't need to use car charger because it's not charging how it should.

I use USB input on my xcarlink player that's normally used for plugging in USB stick containing mp3s. But it also has SD slot so music plays from SD and I have Skate plugged in USB port so it charges. When using Sygic navigation battery stays at the constant level. This means it consumes the same amount of energy that it receives.

I also thought that it battery level would be same, but it's not like that.

Is it because of it or maybe it's to the phone?

Could be anything. But I suppose it's because of a charger. Maybe you could try other one? Or some kind of other device that has USB host port

Will try. But I've read about fast charge and slow charge. That you can adjust it. Is it true or i have read it wrong?

Hard to say. Important is the amount of current charger is giving. Let's say it gives 500mA. If your consumption while using GPS is more than 500mA then it will still discharge.
