Audio level in radio app louder than others?

I know there was some sort of volume issue early on with the G300, which I think was related to ringtones being to soft, which was fixed in an update. I'm on the official B892, not rooted ar anything, just came OTA. I just used the radio app for the first time today and noticed that it is considerably louder, at least using headphones, than any of the other music/video/game apps that I use. Is this the same issue? I'm in New Zealand, perhaps vodafone here didn't include the fix, is there any way of knowing?
