Just browsing Expansys, and they are listing the G300 as coming soon SIM free

No price yet, but maybe the Vodafone monopoly is ending soon :)

There is also this very dodgy looking site listing the G300 at £199.99 SIM free, but it looks a dodgy site to me :o

Strange. I bought mine from none-Vodafone retailer in Czech republic (electronics store, not any operator) and it's SIM free from the beginning.

Expansys (and some other online stores) have a reputation for taking pre-orders for things before they have signed deals to supply the kit. So it might be significant, it might not be.

(its been on there for a good couple of weeks, as i noticed it when checking what accessories they had listed for it...)
