Delayed audio via bluetooth headset on roms above CM7

Hi,

I use CM7 as my daily driver and it all works great.......but i am itching to have a better rom.

When i use any rom cm9 or cm10, coldfusion,paranoid,miui and c3c0s new cm9 i get delayed audio on my bluetooth headset (motorola S10). i.e. out of sync with video. if i plug headphones in the sound is in sync.

Ive searched the various post and found nothing and flashed many roms but all seem to have this problem for me.

Does anyone else have this problem?

(i also have a problem on the camera but im assuming thats in being worked on as i've seen posts about that).

Since bluetooth speed depends on many factors, like encoding decoding, transmission speed, and many other variables it is always delayed and never to predict how much delayed. Usually between 0,5 and 2 seconds.. only way to compensate is delay video for X,X seconds, or use normal headphone

thanks for the reply.

i realise its not a big deal to most but i mainly use the handset for video watching so its a deal breaker.

Ive been trying to find an app that lets you set the delay but my usual ones dont do this.

Other forums say its an issue with ICS
