Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Hello, I'm currently running a custom rom on my SF2 and I was wondering how I would go about returning my phone back to stock recovery so I can unlock it. Anyone got any simple instructions for me? I downloaded the latest SF2 stock rom (OUK_P736VV1.0.0B13-update_signed) from here; http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/ (Linked from the Stock roms thread). Is this the right stock rom and would flashing this replace Clockwork with FTM? Edited August 16, 2012 by CurtisAndroidSF2
Guest chris231 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) make a folder on root of SD card called image download this http://www.mediafire...xt33vyy9j7kdx57 this is the stock rom. extract and put the image.bin file in the image folder. turn off phone completely. turn on phone while holding vol+ and home (so 3 buttons: vol+ home and power) hold them all down until you see the progress bar, let go and wait till completed. this will return you phone to stock, partitions will be stock, no CWM recovery etc etc Just wanted to let you know what your doing. never done the unlock, so someone else will have to help you there...... Oh and make sure you have 50% or more power to allow this job to finish or else, bricked phone, probably. Chris Edited August 16, 2012 by chris231

Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Is that zip for the Orange San Francisco II? Just making sure just in case. Thanks for the reply.

Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Thanks a bunch, just charging my phone then I'll give it a bash.
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Phone took a lot longer than I thought it would to charge so it looks like I'll be trying Saturday instead as I'm 'celebrating' my A level results tomorrow. Do I basically flash that update file via the buttons then carry on with the normal unlocking procedure followed by the normal installing clockworkmod procedure? And; Do I need to rename the file once it's in the folder? Thanks again.
Guest chris231 Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 no idea on the unlocking procedure, check the updated thread for unlocking download the zip I posted. extract the contents. there should be an image.bin file in there (in the zip) get the image.bin file and put it in the image folder (on sd card) turn off hold down vol+ home and power all together and let go when the progress bar appears wait now you have a complete stock 'out of the box' orange san fran 2 no need to rename any files as they are named correctly already as for unlocking, I've never tried, but look here:
