Speaker problem

Hi,

I have a speaker problem that I can't see brought up using the search. I was wondering if others have noticed the same issue. I've recently upgraded from b886 to tillaz's Infusion ICS rom. The same problem happens in both.

It seems that if I leave my phone idle for a few minutes the speaker must power-down to save on energy (this is my assumption). However when a notification arrives, it seems to only switch on in time to play the second half of the notification jingle. I like my notification jingles short and simple, but this is too short. It sounds pretty jarring too. Definitely "wrong". I've also noticed you can get a similar effect by adjusting the volume after a while of silence from the phone. Instead on the usual volume tone, you get a half-hearted beep instead. After that it seems fine. Until left idle again.

Has anyone else noticed this, and any fixes that I'm not aware of??

I've noticed the changes when you push volume button it sounds like a half noise but it seems to be ok when receiving notifications.

I can definitely confirm that it happens with notifications. Currently I am using "Adara" (here it is). I only hear the last two pop/clicks of it.
