Has anyone got any call recorder to work?

I'm really happy with my G300 apart from the slightly dodgy camera and cannot get call recording software to work. I used Auto Call Recorder on my previous ZTE OSF and it was fine. But on G300 I've been through what seems like the entire play store and none of the call recorders work. Most of them have options to try with and without recording from mic, all that, but absolutely nothing works. Tried upgrade from stock Vodafone ROM to ICS B934 but no improvement at all.

Has anyone done this successfully?
