MD5 mismatch on backups

Hello, I have 6 ROM backups on my SD and none of them will restore due to a MD5 mismatch.

Can I fix this or have my backups gone for good?

Thanks, Curtis.

Didn't you already post this?

Just recalculate MD5s and shove them in nandroid.md5. Though they probably broke for a reason.

Yeah but I lost the thread and it didn't get any useful replies.

How do I recalculate MD5's? And most of them broke a while back but I didn't use them so I left them, although the ones that broke then broke after I unlocked and reflashed Clockwork.

Thanks

Edit-

It seems that having spaces in folder names makes Nandroid unhappy. I changed the folder names and now they're restoring. They used to restore even with spaces in the names but it suddenly stopped so it looks like that's the root of the problem.

Thanks again.

Most modern operating systems will have md5 functionality built in. Open a command line terminal, then type 'md5 <filepath>'. Or md5sum. You'll then get the hash for the file.
