Alarm notification - Gingerbread

I use stock alarm. It is always on, so the notification icon on status bar is pointless and take up valuable space.

I think this is controlled by the stock watch/alarm application.

Are there any way to remove/disable the icon ?

My guess is I need to hack the app. But maybe I overlooked a setting somewhere ?

CM 7.2 stable / ceco build.

Did you try to use another app? Maybe some other app has feature, as "icon disable". Hope it helps :rolleyes:

That would be a solution :)

But I would prefer to keep down # of apps.
