Calls from Ascent G300 sound muffled

Apologies if this has been asked already but I've not noticed it.

When I ring people on my Ascend G300, they are often complaining that they cannot hear me properly. Apparently I sound echoy at times and they can't always make out what I am saying.

This wasn't the case with my previous phone the Huawei Blaze. Is this a design flaw or do I simply have an rare faulty phone which I should take back and get exchanged?

Ignore this thread if you like. I've just seen the poll on the microphone. So yes I'm one of those having problems. Clearly more widespread. Perhaps a batch rather than everything.
