That's a ZTE, not a huawei

I believe that the OP was referring to the design and shape of the phone, as well as specifications.

Hence,

How comes? Is there some no name smartphone hardware manufacturer who makes phones like this, and then Huawei, ZTE and others just buy them, put their logos and ROMs on those phones and ship them? Would it be even possible?

Litigation lawyers on stand-by, then I noticed it has 4 navigation buttons as apposed to 3 on the G300. :D

Still I am sure some German judge would put a ban on importing these. :)

Huawei and ZTE are the no name smartphone manufacturer's. It's their stuff that is rebadged by various operators.

Anyone else think ZTE's new UI is absolutely horrific? Huawei's isn't the best, but it certainly looks a hell of a lot better than that!

I think he meant that they used to rebadge their phones, for example the Orange San Francisco which was a Zte Blade but they are now selling their phones under their own brand name

ZTE's new UI is meant to be close to stock Android, with just a few spacing and app drawer tweaks. Are you saying you prefer bloated, manufacturer custom UI's?
