What version of flash player do I need for the G300? I know you can't download from the play store anymore, but I'd like to try and get flash working to access some flash based video on demand services here in New Zealand.

Flash player 11 seems to be the latest version, that's what I have installed, and you can get it from the play store.

Then why do I have an update from yesterday then?

It most certainly still is on the Play Store.

I think they will continue updating for a while but new devices wont be supported hence why Paul placed a link on Modaco as it was meant to be taken down off the market

If you already got it installed on device, you get updates....

but it is gone from Play for new installs, as per Adobes announcement earlier this year.....

Steve's Jobs legacy.....Apple would not have it on iPhone, so Adobe pukk support from all handsets.....

It is available as apk from many sources, but only up to ICS.....

that's why it was pulled when JB was officially launched!!!

Try searching Play for Adobe Flash!!

Better still, uninstall it, and then search Play for latest version.....

It's there when I search but I haven't uninstalled it, although when installed my last rom I could see it in the play store "My Apps"/ "All" section.

Yep that's what I see too dragpyre.

Lads..... sorry but it's gone....

I don't know why its showing on your Play, but it is gone, unless Adobe have performed a massive u-turn and reinstated it, which I sincerely hope is true, but just one report here from thousands all over the web confirms it.....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19267140

it is not a rumour....

this was on the cards for at least months and was announced by Adobe.

DP.... sweetie!!! LoL

I can explain this.. With another SCREENSHOT!

Pretty much, what that means if the manufacturer goes to Adobe, and says "Yeah, this device is good for Flash, our users love it". Then it will still appear for you. If the manufacturer hasn't, then it will disappear.

Well, not totally correct DP....

Flash will not be supported on any device beyond ICS.... no support for any device running JB!!!!

That's also there in your screenie...

Just for the craic, it says my device is " certified"....following the link on my browser....

I got a Galaxy W [GT-i8150] running Stock GB 2.3.6, it is on the list, but Flash does not show up in Play on my Galaxy.....

Go figger!!!

Anyway, its gone....No??

It's there for me. That's all I can really say.

But it looks like the OP will need to find an apk!
