Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Remote Zoomin tool in the eMbedded VC++ environment?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 SmartSS from monolithix.org? P
Guest Croccy22 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 SmartSS doens't seem to capture the gapidraw screen. Only seems to work with applications.
Guest Croccy22 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Havn't tried this yet but isn't there a problem with running gapi draw on the emulator?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 No, in the Environment window click tools >remote zoom in. Make sure oyur SPV is attached and it'll dump the phones current scrren to a bmp on oyur PC...
Guest Simon Desser Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Another way might be to run "Remote Desktop" and use your PC's screen capture facility. Doing it this way you can zoom the screen to 3 times size.
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Remote zoomin is the beast. The screen shot tool (on monolithix.org) only works I think in apps with "normal" keyboard handling. Most games use gapi and grab the keyboard the hardway, as in all keys are handled by the game, pressing home/back etc doesn't do the normal functions. This means the screenshot app can't catch a keypress to shoot  Anyway, I found with remote zoomin that it seemed to crash and die a lot on me if I tried to save the image straight from zoomin, where as if I use the clipboard and copy the image and paste it into some real app (like gimp or photoshop) then everything worked swimmingly.
