Guest BrianChorlton Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Having returned my ascend g300 purely because of volume issues, I bought another one having read how it's easy to solve the problem. I love this phone, but am struggling to set it up with my Parrot car hands free. Pairing the device is simple but can anyone help into how I how I get my contacts into the Parrot for hands free use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Guest Al_1604 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Which Parrot do you have? Mine works great with my LS3200 (did a firmware upate on the Parot recently, maybe that helped). After first pairing and connecting watch the phone, it may ask for premission to share some data (like contacts), you need to OK this.
Guest samjam Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I recently started having problems with my Parrot since I updated to separate kernels. I know I was fine after 296 and the repacked 394 so I just need to work out what made it go wrong
Guest Al_1604 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I can confirm that my G300 is on the repacked B934, works better with the Parrot than any previous phone. Have you updated the Parrot to the latest firmware?

Does this sound stupid. Any instructions on how to do this gratefully received
Guest RussellS Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I personally don't have a Parrot but I did have problems trying to import my contacts into my cars built in hands free. My phone would be linked to the Bluetooth fine but when I tried to start the importing process it would just wait a little while and then report "import failed" on the car display. I tried this a few times before I realised that the phone was actually waiting for me to authorise the import. For some reason the phone didn't wake up the screen and ask for authorisation, I had to press the power putton to wake the screen and then drag down the notification bar to see the request. Once I did this and authorised it the import worked fine.
