Failed to update B888 - B926

I've been up and around this issue nearly all day and still haven't been able to make this happen...

I want to upgrade from B888 to B934 and from what i've been reading, first, before doing that, i must upgrade to a B926 at least so that the "dload" B934 update works, is this correct?

So i've been following instructions to update to B926 and it allways fails after around 20% of Step1/2..allways...i think i must've tried everything so as a last resource i've created this topic...

Considering i've got B888 and Baseband 109808 I don't need to downgrade correct?

Then what am I doing wrong ? :S

Try with B926.Then if you successfuly update, you can upgrade to B934.

I had a similar problem - I ended up going to B892 then B926 and finally B934. No downgrade shuould be required.

Why do people think that? I have heard that statement from a few people on these boards and I have also noticed that the amount of posts regarding lost or mishandled IMEI numbers has increased quite a bit... Why are people messing with their IMEI numbers?

Installing B926 first, then flashing all other ROMs in CMW, is a good idea because B926 has the best baseband but you could go straight to B934.

Try flashing this first (if you haven't done yet), it worked for me.
