Guest maninhas Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) Hi all, The ICS 4.0.3 (B963) was approved by Vodafone, so Huawei will available the update within 2 to 3 weeks. Thanks BrunoF_Vodafone ( vodafone Portugal) Edited August 26, 2012 by maninhas
Guest alwyn Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Is this a question or a statement ??
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Apparently a statement, but there's no update files yet. Basically: the final, OTA release build will be B963.
Guest maninhas Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 It was posted few hours ago in vodafone portugal forum by a moderator

Guest Smiff2 Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 ah.. so this is newer than the last leak that everyone's basing off of? i'll wait then maybe..
Guest mack_ Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 ah.. so this is newer than the last leak that everyone's basing off of? i'll wait then maybe.. it hasn't actually been released yet, please dont confuse people
Guest xZaratustrAx Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 i will never understand their reasoning behind delaying updates....like its really stupid As fas as I read, it has to do with certification. Google releases the code to the manufacturer, then, it applies it's brand changes. Now it's returned to Google for certification. Done this, the manufacturer now deliever the software to the carrier who, in it's turn, add all the junk we know. The carrier, then, return the software to the manufacturer wich will ask for the final certification. This is why all this process takes aeons to be concluded. :)

Only joking but seriously it shouldn't take that long ,Surely?

Guest belmet Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 looks promising but I'm not gonna get my hopes up just yet...
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Being ignored and dates being changed that was annoying people more I think. We all await a good stable rom and no one wants a buggy rom to be released but by blankly ignoring your customers, there will be a backlash. We now have something official so we can all quietly wait for its release
Guest Smiff2 Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 it hasn't actually been released yet, please dont confuse people  my point is people were saying 943 or whatever was final and the ver that would be released.. they were wrong.
Guest mack_ Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 my point is people were saying 943 or whatever was final and the ver that would be released.. they were wrong. thats the problem, the build number could still change
Guest jlut Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 i hope they do mean B963 and not b936 :)
Guest mack_ Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 i hope they do mean B963 and not b936 :) hopefully...
Guest tracasan Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 i hope they do mean B963 and not b936 :) does that even matter?
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Well I believe the assumption would be many more internal builds would've taken place since B934. Ultimately of course it may make no difference, they could fix a lot in one build and fix near nothing in another.
