whats difference between http://www.modaco.co...-flashable-zip/

and the main site of g300 update of b934

http://www.huaweidev...&softid=NDY1MTg=

HUAWEI Ascend G300 firmware(U8815,Android 4.0,V100R001C00B934,General Version)

The first one is flashable only via clockworkmod recovery (also called CWM). The second one is flashable via update option in android menu or via forced update on boot.

The second one from Huawei I also think that changes the baseband, which is relevant for mobile internet speeds, to the best available. Huawei's is the one that is recommended to be done before flashing any further cwm zips, that leave the baseband as it is.

I thought that B934 changed high speed upload back to Hsdpa 9 if it was flashed the official way.

Confirmed, flash B926 to get hsdpa 11 the official way then cwm flash B934 to keep hsdpa or else it will change back to hsdpa 9.

so it best to just update to b926 then use the b934 flashable zip rather then the upgrade from huawei site

2 different methods of flashing a rom.

Official which Is cryptographically signed so can change radio baseband etc.

Cwm flashing which is slightly less functional as we don't have the keys to sign a rom so that it looks official so there are limits to what we can change.

So yes in answer to your question

Hi can someone help me?

I have flashed firmware B926 chinese one.

I then went to flash the B934 update using the dlfolder full file via volume and on button. But the pink bar goes 1/3 of the way and stops.

I can reboot back into B926 by removing the battery. I want to flash the full B934, then use CMW for further updating.

How can I do this? Thanks

You would be better off rooting and installing cwm now then flash other roms through that

you can choose ,first

b926 gives you the hspda 11 ------dload folder this one first as you will keep the hspda 11 other wise you go to hspda 9

b934 repack clockworkmod or dload version

b936 repack clockworkmod or dload version

you can choose which method okay.
