Can't hung up

Hello,

I have had my ZTE Skate (a non-simlocked one direct from zte) for nearly a year.

Right from the start it had a strange problem which I assumed to be a software bug.

When I initiate a call, the screen goes blank, so then I can't hung up.

It' s OK if the other party hungs up, but if I get through to voice mail, it just keeps going.

The only way I can get it to stop is to turn off the phone.

Any ideas anyone?

Calibrate proximity sensor. *#983* or 983# I think does it

It's *983*0#

Works only with stock rom or stock based custom roms with zte dialer. Engineering menu will appear. Navigate to Sensor menu and do the calibration.

Yup, recalibrating the proximity sensor fixes it. Most non stock based ROMs include the function in the settings, since it's a common bug.
