Guest comicbookguy Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Hi all! I'm trying to find a software solution to a problem I'm having- I've just bought a cheap a2dp adapter to plug in to my car auxiliary socket to play music from my phone in the car. I used to use a wired setup, and the phone would still use its internal mic when making calls, diverting the incoming audio to the stereo The problem now is that the new dongle pairs as a pair of headphones, and the call audio diverts to the internal speaker. None of the apps on the market for diverting audio streams will do what I want. Any ideas or is it a ROM thing?
Guest leobcn Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Hi ComicBookGuy, I'm using an a2dp headphones (sony mw600) and the phone diverts all the calls to it without any problem. Did you check the phone settings to be sure that call diverting is active in that profile?
Guest comicbookguy Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) That's a headset, tho. Mine works fine with my headset and also with the also Bluetooth radio on the wife's car. The problem is that my car dongle is seen as headphones (with no internal mic). I don't see why the phone can't just send the incoming phone audio thru bluetooth while using the internal mic of the phone for outgoing voice.... maybe the dongle is missing a BT profile....
