Really would it make a difference to the overall usability of the G300

People are forgetting that its a budget phone and should be thankfull that its has ICS on it now.

Next you'll be screaming for Jelly Bean!

IT`s buggy as it`s WIP. :)

We should be thankful that we have got what was advertised? That astonishes me it truly does.

So you wouldn't use it or try it if those people that are banging on managed to get Huawei to implement it fully?

That attitude winds me up. I have given so much s*** to Vodafone and Huawei over the past few months, not just for the benefit of the community, but because I was sold a device with an advertised upgrade path to ICS. I forced clarification on Beta or full ICS, and I am still pushing for improved HWA as its still buggy on b934.

Its clear from reading that Huawei have abandoned devices before and left users with buggy roms. I wasn't prepared to let this happen so whether my fight and those of the other community members has helped, we will never know but there have been loads of leaked ros since but please don't take the piss when you will benefit from others 'banging on'

My original question "Really would it make a difference to the overall usability of the G300"

Every device's CMifying is buggy to start with. A lot of time needs to be sinked in to do it. The device is fully capable of it. That is not a counter argument.

Besides, I'm fairly sure Huawei did say official JB was coming. It was posted in this forum around JB's release.

Edit: I have an ARMv6 device that runs JB almost as smooth as a Nexus 7. People really exaggerate what "budget" means in Android devices.

Is that the sf2? Sounds amazing! Which phone do you prefer out of sf2 and g300?
